'Test case' for on-solds quake insurance issue likely to go ahead

A $300 million Government policy to sort "on sold" earthquake repair issues has not swayed homeowners from taking EQC to court. 

A group action with nearly 60 claimants, touted as a legal "test case", is expected to go ahead later this month.

The case alleges the Earthquake Commission (EQC) was negligent in meeting its statutory obligations relating to missed damage or inadequate earthquake repairs.
